Hi there, my name is Katie. I am a working wife and mother who is struggling with deep depression, anxiety and panic attacks. I am no expert, but I've been dealing with this a long time and have begun to compile a large tool box of skills to help me through this difficult time. I am working each day on becoming more mindful and live more in the moment - but the struggle is REAL and I battle every single day.
In the past, I have found great peace in knowing I am not alone and by being able to speak my truth openly. I started sharing a bit on Instagram and it felt so good to get it off my chest that I thought I would write a little more on a blog! I really have no idea how to be a "blogger", but I'm gonna do my best to be raw, honest, and maybe - just maybe - I will help reach another person who struggles like me... But, if nothing else, I am hoping to document my own personal story of bettering myself for my family.
